Jorik Emergency Contact Alerts

Use only a number you are authorized to use. After your affirmative request, the planned flow verifies the number before enabling recurring alerts. Requesting verification alone does not enroll you.
Optional, separate checkbox—initially unchecked. Being designated, accepting general terms, or not replying STOP is not consent. Declining means you will not receive Jorik SMS alerts; the user must arrange another safety contact or method.
In the planned flow, selecting the consent checkbox and choosing “Confirm SMS consent & request code” also requests a one-time verification SMS to this number. After successful verification, the service sends the required enrollment-confirmation SMS before recurring alerts. Without an affirmative request, no verification text is sent.
